Feature article on RGM

VS = Vancouver Sun

About how he believes that RGM is a great prospect for them, Lions player personnel director Roy Shivers said:
“He was on Winnipeg’s neg list, but Neil [player personnel coordinator Neil McEvoy] worked a deal with them to get him on ours. He can catch the ball and he can run with it. He’s got speed.” (VS)

VS Note: “And youth. Grice-Mullen, who turns 22 today, is the youngest player on the Lions roster.”

About how he was surprised to not get drafted and why he signed with a CFL team instead of hope an NFL team called, RGM said:
“I didn’t want to wait around hoping to get picked up by another NFL team. I wanted to play ball. I did all I could do in college. My stats last year were good. Would it really make a difference if I went back for my senior year? It was just unfortunate I didn’t get drafted. It was a total shock.” (VS)

About RGM, Colt said:
“Ryan has the ability to take five-yard routes and turn them into 60-yardtouchdowns in a flash.” (VS)

Note: RGM was timed at 4.3 for the 40-yard dash at UH’s Pro Day.

About how they have only been able to add 2 players (including RGM) to their practice roster, Shivers said:
“Most guys [NFL] who get cut now are still hanging around.” (VS)
